The European Maritime Day (EMD) is the annual event during which Europe’s maritime community meet to network, discuss and outline coordinated action on maritime affairs and sustainable blue growth. Featuring high‑level sessions, stakeholder workshops, an exhibition space and multiple opportunities for collaboration, EMD2026 offers a comprehensive platform where “Ocean Leaders Meet” to explore the role of the seas and explore emerging trends across maritime sectors. Topics related to food security, including fisheries, aquaculture, algae and biotechnology, will be addressed as part of the broader programme.
