Description
This call funds the creation of living labs to test and demonstrate innovative ecosystem restoration solutions in real-life settings, supporting the EU Nature Restoration Regulation. Projects must co‑design measures with stakeholders, monitor ecosystem recovery, and develop viable models for long‑term implementation.
Among other key sectors, the call also addresses research and innovation needs for sustainable aquaculture, in alignment with the Vision for Fisheries and Aquaculture towards 2040.
In this context, living labs may include coastal, estuarine, lagoon, or delta environments where aquaculture activities intersect with broader ecosystem‑restoration efforts.
The deadline for receiving the pre-proposals is 16 April 2026 (17:00 CEST), while for the full proposals is 23 September 2026 (17:00 CEST).
