Farm Design Tool

The EU4Algae farm design tool is a synthesis of resources to help algae farmers plan their own algae farm, whether it is just starting out at lab scale, or upscaling to commercial, offshore macroalgae farm. The farm design tool is intended to help algae farmers work out what they need to get started, where they can place their farm and how to develop a business plan, drawing on existing tools and results from past and ongoing algae projects. It include resources related to licensing, sea basins, land-based farming, compilation of existing tools, business design guide and algae knowledge base.
