Maritime Spatial Planning (MSP) global Rapid Assessment Methodology

This  document  presents  the  MSPglobal  Rapid  Assessment  Methodology  (MSPglobal  RAM)  for  the  identification  and  development of actions, tasks and workplan to advance MSP within  beneficiary   countries   supported   by   UNESCO-IOC,   collaborators  and  other  organisations  working  on  this  field. In particular, it supports the identification of existing initiatives (such as aquaculture, ocean literacy, or conservation actions among others), assesses the status of MSP development, and formulates actionable plans to guide implementation.  This  methodology consists of three steps with each step having a factsheet which serves as a template to guide practitioners in the assessment and developing an MSP Action Plan.
