Advancing algae aquaculture: innovative pathways for the Black Sea region

This workshop convenes leading researchers, industry stakeholders, and policy representatives to explore innovative strategies for algae aquaculture in the Black Sea region. As part of the Horizon Europe-funded EX-AQUA project, the event aims to accelerate the uptake of sustainable technologies, foster regional cooperation, and co-design future pathways for algae-based applications. Through knowledge exchange and collaborative dialogue, the workshop supports the development of a resilient and innovation-driven aquaculture ecosystem aligned with the EU’s Blue Economy and Green Deal objectives.
