Organic Knowledge and Innovation System (KIS) for aquaculture in Germany

This good practice addresses the lack of independent, personalised guidance for fish farmers transitioning to organic farm management. It focuses on improving knowledge transfer from research and advisory institutions to practitioners and increasing visibility of trusted actors supporting organic aquaculture. 

By mapping available technical, administrative, training, and certification support providers, it helps farmers identify appropriate advisory services, reduce uncertainty during the conversion process, and facilitate the adoption of organic aquaculture practices in line with EU and national regulations.
