This mid-term assessment reviews the implementation of the Strategic Guidelines for a more sustainable and competitive EU aquaculture (2021–2030). It examines both (i) progress in developing the recommended actions and (ii) the efficiency of these actions in achieving the objectives, while identifying areas where adaptation is needed.
