iCULTURE Multistakeholder Workshop – Ensuring sustainable seaweed biomass provision

This workshop will feature keynote inputs from European policy, research and seaweed and algae representatives on relevant EU and regional policy frameworks for sustainable seaweed biomass provision, current and future biomass availability and demand scenarios, and emerging research and innovation pathways supporting circular and cascading value chains. In addition, the second part of the workshop will consist of an interactive session inviting participants to discuss challenges, identify technical, business and policy solutions, and co‑develop initial recommendations to inform future research and policy dialogue, supporting the development of a sustainable and competitive European algae‑based bioeconomy.
