Tionscadal ceithre bliana a bhí in ClimeFish a cistíodh le Fís 2020 an Aontais, agus é mar aidhm leis cuidiú lena áirithiú go dtiocfaidh an méadú ar tháirgeadh bia mara i limistéir agus i speicis ina bhfuil acmhainneacht fáis inbhuanaithe, i bhfianaise na bhforbairtí a bhfuiltear ag súil leo san aeráid, agus ar an gcaoi sin rannchuidiú le fostaíocht láidir agus le forbairt inbhuanaithe na bpobal tuaithe agus cósta.

Torthaí nithiúla: Chuir an tionscadal Treoirlínte i dtoll a chéile maidir le Pleananna um Oiriúnú don Athrú Aeráide (CBTanna) a chruthú. D’fhorbair sé cúrsa ríomhfhoghlama freisin maidir le ‘Oiriúnú don Athrú Aeráide agus Maolú in Iascaigh agus Dobharshaothrú’, a chuir an Eagraíocht Bhia agus Talmhaíochta (FAO) ar fáil. Chruthaigh an tionscadal creat tacaíochta cinntí (DSF) bunaithe ar thorthaí an tionscadail (i.e. cás-staidéir agus foilseacháin), i bhfoirm bogearraí a ionsamhlaíonn agus a shamhlaíonn tionchair cásanna éagsúla athraithe aeráide ar stoic éisc agus ar dhobharshaothrú.

Feidhm/ábharthacht: Soláthraíonn DSF agus torthaí tionscadail éagsúla tuartha níos iontaofa maidir le tionchar an athraithe aeráide ar dhobharshaothrú, agus dá bhrí sin cuidíonn siad le cinntí níos fearr a dhéanamh don todhchaí.
