Description

Deskrizzjoni fil-qosor tal-proġett: NewTechAqua huwa proġett ta’ tliet snin iffinanzjat mill-Orizzont 2020 tal-UE, li għandu l-għan li jespandi u jiddiversifika l-produzzjoni tal-akkwakultura Ewropea tal-ħut bil-pinen, tal-molluski u tal-mikroalgi billi jiżviluppa u jivvalida l-avvanzi teknoloġiċi, reżiljenti u sostenibbli.

Riżultati tanġibbli: Il-proġett jinsab fil-proċess li jiżviluppa u jittestja soluzzjonijiet ġodda. Pereżempju, formulazzjonijiet innovattivi fir-rigward ta’ ProHealth feeds, zerowaste feeds u għalf organiku diġà ġew ittestjati fil-livell tal-laboratorju u għad iridu jintwerew fil-qasam. Barra minn hekk, il-proġett NewTechAqua qed jorganizza Programm ta’ Taħriġ biex jipprovdi l-ħiliet meħtieġa għal Akkwakultura Ewropea sostenibbli, reżiljenti u innovattiva.

Applikazzjoni/rilevanza:  NewTechAqua se turi li l-investiment fir-riċerka u l-innovazzjoni fl-akkwakultura sostenibbli jwassal għall-ħolqien ta’ ktajjen tal-valur, swieq, tkabbir u impjiegi ġodda f’żoni kostali, lil hinn mill-kosta u mingħajr kosta.
