Tangible results: The project is in the process of developing and testing new solutions. For instance, innovative formulations in relation to prohealth feeds, zerowaste feeds and organic feeds have already been tested at lab level and are still yet to be demonstrated in the field. In addition, NewTechAqua project is organising a Training Programme to provide the necessary skills for a sustainable, resilient, and innovative European Aquaculture.
Application/relevance: NewTechAqua will demonstrate that investment in sustainable aquaculture research and innovation leads to the creation of new value chains, markets, growth and jobs in coastal, offshore and landlocked areas.
