9th International Shellfish Conference

The event will bring together stakeholders from across Europe, featuring lectures, discussions, poster sessions, pitches, and a trade fair. This year’s theme, “Perspectives for Sustainable Production and Sales”, addresses opportunities and challenges in shellfish farming and marketing, including declining mussel harvests, import reliance, and consumer engagement strategies. The Sustainability Award for the Shellfish Sector 2024/2025 will also be presented. Participants from the Netherlands, UK, Ireland, Germany, Denmark, and Portugal are expected, with English–Dutch translation provided.
