Tionscadal cúig bliana go leith a cistíodh le Fís 2020 an Aontais ab ea GENIALG, a bhí dírithe ar bhorradh a chur faoi Gheilleagar Gorm na hEorpa trí chórais ardtáirgeachta saothraithe feamainne de dhá speiceas a dhearadh: an t-algaí donn Saccharina latissima agus an alga glas Ulva spp.

Torthaí nithiúla: Dearadh leis an tionscadal córais saothraithe feamainne ardtáirgeachta den dá speiceas, ag díriú ar a dtáirgeadh agus a saothrú inbhuanaithe a mhéadú. Chruthaigh GENIALG ardán freisin, reáchtáil sé cúrsa oiliúna maidir le cleachtais feirmeoireachta feamainne inbhuanaithe agus d’fhoilsigh sé roinnt tuarascálacha taighde ina raibh torthaí ar dhobharshaothrú feamainne.
