Bhí tionchar ag paindéim COVID-19 agus ag na bearta a rinneadh chun leathadh na paindéime a theorannú ar chórais táirgthe iascaigh agus dobharshaothraithe ar fud an Aontais Eorpaigh (AE). Cumhdaítear sa tuarascáil seo an tréimhse ama ó mhí an Mhárta go mí Mheán Fómhair 2020 le haghaidh gach ceann de 27 mBallstát an Aontais. Cuireann sé an méid seo a leanas ar fáil: achoimre ar an bhfaisnéis atá ar fáil maidir le héifeachtaí na paindéime; cainníochtú teoranta ar mhéid na n-éifeachtaí sin; léiriú ar an bhfad a mhairfidh siad agus ar na bearta maolaithe atá curtha chun feidhme ag rialtais chun na héifeachtaí eacnamaíocha diúltacha gearrthéarmacha, meántéarmacha agus fadtéarmacha ar iascairí agus ar fheirmeoirí éisc a shrianadh. Sainaithnítear bearnaí eolais i gcaibidil eile.
