2025 UN Ocean Conference

The overarching theme of this year's edition is “Accelerating action and mobilising all actors to conserve and sustainably use the ocean”. The conference therefore aims to drive action to conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development and identify further means of implementation of the Sustainable Development Goal 14 "Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development". The conference will comprise 10 Ocean Action Panels, which will be collaborative and multi-stakeholder in nature, addressing a wide range of topics spanning multiple sectors, including aquaculture.
