This is a 3-day event combining the Technical seminar of EU Member States’ experts on aquaculture with a broader event consisting on workshops with participation, upon invitation, of other experts and stakeholders (including the Aquaculture Advisory Council, the EU Aquaculture Assistance Mechanism, leaders of EU funded research projects, and NGOs). This will be followed, on the third day, by a visit to aquaculture sites.
The objective of this event is to gather a number of selected experts and stakeholders to discuss and support the finalisation of the following four documents:
- Guidance document on environmental performance of aquaculture
- Guidance document on adaptation of aquaculture to climate change
- Document on good husbandry practices in aquaculture
- Document on access to space and water for inland aquaculture.
Specifically, on October 18th, an event and workshops open to any interested stakeholder will take place. To register, the following link can be used.
The Technical Seminar taking place on October 19th will be restricted to MS experts only. The latter are invited to register through the following link.
