Maritimal Spatial Planning and Migratory Fish Workshop

The MSP and Migratory Fish Workshop aims to enhance the integration of migratory fish considerations within MSP processes. With the development of offshore wind power in the Gulf of Bothnia, there is a potential impact on migratory fish, which could have significant economic effects on the Tornio River region in both Finland and Sweden. This workshop will closely examine how migratory fish are currently accounted for in MSP in these countries and explore ways to improve their consideration to ensure sustainable outcomes for both the fish populations and related industries.
