Navigating Ecological Considerations and Sustainability in Mariculture Practices

The symposium will bring together various stakeholders including scientists, political, industrial and non-governmental parties to explore the horizon of ecological sustainable marine aquaculture, uncovering both its threats and opportunities. In particular, the following thematic sessions will take place: aquaculture in the open sea, landbase aquaculture, restorative aquaculture, and Belgian initiatives in a context of ecologically sustainable aquaculture.
