Technical Expert Group (TEG) on Data for Maritime Spatial Planning (MSP)

Description

The Technical Expert Group (TEG) on Data for Maritime Spatial Planning (MSP) supports the development of harmonised, high-quality data practices for maritime spatial planning across the EU. Its main objectives are to: 1) facilitate knowledge exchange among MSP data practitioners; 2) develop common standards for MSP-related data collection, metadata, and interoperability; 3) support policy-making by providing technical recommendations and frameworks; and, 4) promote cross-border coherence in maritime spatial plans through harmonised data models.
