Atlantic-Arctic Agora (A-AAGORA)

Description

Short description of the project: A-AAGORA is a four-year project financed by the Horizon Europe, aimed at demonstrating how innovation, Ecosystem-based Management and Nature-based Solutions can contribute to sustainable transformation in three coastal areas.

Expected results: The project will carry out demonstration activities in 3 different countries of the Atlantic and Arctic basin, representing different starting points that will serve as pilots of innovative actions, providing important data for global ocean science and direct research in the coastal and marine regions. The three demos will act as hubs and platforms for the development, demonstration, and deployment of transformative innovations of all forms – technological, social, business, governance.

Application/relevance: AAGORA work towards contributing to the Mission ‘Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030’ objectives.
