Description
Short description of the project: ARIEL was a two-year project funded by the Interreg ADRION programme, aimed at speeding-up and transferring innovation in two key drivers for the Adriatic and Ionian Regions: small-scale fisheries and aquaculture sector.
Tangible results: ARIEL produced a catalogue of policies best practices for the setting-up of a regional and transnational innovation system for the small-scale fisheries and aquaculture sector. It also developed a catalogue of transnational best practices in Research & Development (R&D) in the same two sectors.
Application/relevance: These best practices have been selected due to their proven effectiveness and production of successful outcomes. Stakeholders can get inspired by them or adapt them to their specific needs.
