Description
Short description of the project: Sustainability in Norwegian Aquaculture is a seven-year project funded by the Norwegian Seafood Research Fund, aimed at making facts on environmental, economic and social sustainability in Norwegian aquaculture more accessible.
Tangible results: The project developed a web portal with indicators on the sustainability of Norwegian aquaculture, covering more than 20 different themes on environmental, economic and social sustainability.
Application/relevance: The website is intended for anyone interested in facts about the aquaculture industry, and provides an image of the state of the industry from three criteria: the impact on the environment, the economy in the industry and what kind of societal impacts it provides.
