Description
Filamentous fungi have potential as an alternative protein source for use in aquafeeds due to their high protein content and bioactive components. This article presents the results of an study conducted to explore how the protein-rich fungus called Paecilomyces variotii (also known as PEKILO® mycoprotein) could be used as a sustainable alternative protein in feed for Atlantic salmon.
