Launch of the communication campaign on aquaculture

The European Commission  is organising an event on the 25th of March in Brussels for the launch of the campaign 'EU Aquaculture: we work for you with passion'. The event will begin with an introduction by Costas Kadis, European Commissioner for Fisheries and Oceans. The event will include testimonials from aquaculture producers from Germany, Greece and Poland, a retailer, and a discussion on the 'The importance of aquaculture for the EU', involving representatives of EU institutions and Member States. The event will be concluded by Delilah Al Khudhairy, Director for Maritime Policy and Blue Economy at the Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (DG MARE). The event will be followed by a tasting of EU aquaculture products. The participation in the event is upon invitation only, but it will be web streamed.
