Report from the Commission to the European Parliament and the Council on the implementation of the Common Monitoring and Evaluation System for the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund

The European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) supported the EU’s maritime and fisheries policies from 2014 to 2020. A common monitoring and evaluation system (CMES) was set up to monitor its operations financed under shared management, and record and track their achievements. This is the second report on the implementation of the CMES. It focuses on developments since the previous report, sets out lessons learned during implementation, and looks at how these have been taken into account in developing the framework for the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF) for 2021 to 2027.
