Duurzame, rendabele, veerkrachtige aquacultuur in de gehele Atlantische Oceaan (ASTRAL)

Description

Korte beschrijving van het project: Astral is een uit hoofde van Horizon 2020 gefinancierd vierjarig project dat gericht is op de ontwikkeling van nieuwe, duurzame, winstgevende en veerkrachtige waardeketens voor geïntegreerde multitrofische aquacultuur (IMTA) in het kader van bestaande, opkomende en potentiële Atlantische markten.

Tastbare resultaten: Verwacht wordt dat het project onder meer zal voorzien in een catalogus van “Atlantische soorten voor de toekomst” op basis van hun veerkracht, winstgevendheid, duurzaamheid en voedingswaarde, alsook in de IMTA-productierichtboeken en beste praktijken voor de uitvoering van de IMTA in alle Atlantische regio’s.

Aanvraag/relevantie: Het projectonderzoek en de projectresultaten zullen bijdragen tot de voortgang en uitvoering van de IMTA-productie in het Atlantische gebied.
