Gesamter Atlantik, nachhaltige, rentable und widerstandsfähige Aquakultur (ASTRAL)

Description

Kurzbeschreibung des Projekts: Astral ist ein vierjähriges Projekt, das im Rahmen von Horizont 2020 der EU finanziert wird und darauf abzielt, neue, nachhaltige, rentable und widerstandsfähige Wertschöpfungsketten für die integrierte multi-Trophische Aquakultur (IMTA) im Rahmen bestehender, entstehender und potenzieller atlantischer Märkte zu entwickeln.

Konkrete Ergebnisse: Im Rahmen des Projekts sollen unter anderem ein Katalog der „Atlantischen Arten für die Zukunft“ auf der Grundlage ihrer Widerstandsfähigkeit, Rentabilität, Nachhaltigkeit und ihres nahrhaften Wertes sowie IMTA-Produktionshandbücher und bewährte Verfahren zur Umsetzung des IMTA in den atlantischen Regionen bereitgestellt werden.

Anwendung/Relevanz: Die Projektforschung und -ergebnisse werden zum Fortschritt und zur Umsetzung der IMTA-Produktion im Atlantikraum beitragen.
