EU Aquaculture Assistance Mechanism

Council Regulation (EU) 2020/1706 of 13 November 2020 opening and providing for the management of autonomous Union tariff quotas for certain fishery products for the 2021–2023 period

Description

Every 3 years, the EU establishes autonomous tariff quotas (ATQs) for certain fish and fish products. An ATQ allows a certain quantity of a product to be imported into the EU at a reduced tariff rate, helping increase the supply of the raw materials which the EU processing industry relies on, at times when EU supply is not sufficiently high to meet the demand. This document establishes the ATQs for the 2021-2023 period.
