Transition énergétique dans l’UE

Le présent document de travail des services de la Commission porte sur l’efficacité énergétique et l’utilisation de sources d’énergie renouvelables pour réduire l’empreinte carbone dans la production aquacole primaire. Outre les États membres de l’UE, l’élaboration du présent document s’est également appuyée sur les pratiques et les outils du Royaume-Uni et de la Norvège en raison de leur proximité avec l’UE et de l’importance de leur production aquacole, de leur recherche et de leur innovation.

Accès à l’espace et à l’eau pour l’eau douce et l’aquaculture paysagère

Le présent document de travail des services de la Commission recense les bonnes pratiques et fournit aux autorités et aux décideurs politiques des États membres des solutions potentielles aux défis auxquels ils sont confrontés en matière de planification de l’aquaculture en eau douce et à terre. Le document aborde plusieurs sujets et, parmi ceux-ci, il examine la disponibilité de la qualité de l’eau, la conservation des habitats, la nécessité de sensibiliser, de former et de mettre en place des systèmes fermés et semi-fermés.

Adaptation au changement climatique

Le présent document rassemble les mesures d’adaptation possibles et les bonnes pratiques qui peuvent être appliquées tant au niveau administratif qu’au niveau des exploitations afin de rendre le secteur européen de l’aquaculture plus résilient aux changements liés au climat. Son principal objectif est d’aider les autorités et les décideurs politiques des États membres et du secteur aquacole à créer et à mettre à jour des PMC pour l’aquaculture. À cette fin, il présente les effets (négatifs et positifs) que le changement climatique peut avoir sur l’aquaculture de l’UE.
