Directive (EEC) 92/43 on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora

This Directive (EEC) 92/43 aims at ensuring the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora in the European territory. It establishes a framework that helps Member States design and implement measures to maintain and/or restore natural habitats and species of wild fauna and flora. These habitats include terrestrial and aquatic areas.
