Recirculating Aquaculture Systems

This study aims to give a better understanding of the aquaculture sector in the EU, its size and potential for growth. It includes a mapping of the industry, also putting the increasingly demanded Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) in perspective and comparing it with traditional farming methods. Three case studies seek to assess the impact of this technology on competitiveness as well as on operating costs and the differentiation strategies in sales and marketing.
